1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:

  • If a rider cancels a ride before a driver accepts the booking, the full amount will be refunded.
  • If a driver cancels the ride after accepting, the rider may receive a full refund.
  • If a rider is charged incorrectly due to a technical error, an investigation will be conducted, and a refund may be issued.
  • If the ride was not completed due to driver misconduct or failure to arrive, a full or partial refund may be granted after review.

2. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued under the following scenarios:

  • If a rider cancels the ride after the driver has accepted, cancellation fees may apply.
  • If the ride has been completed successfully, no refund will be provided unless there is a dispute.
  • If a user provides false information or misuses the refund policy.
  • If the delay or service disruption was due to external factors beyond Procurn’s control (e.g., traffic, weather conditions).

3. Refund Process

  • Users must submit a refund request within 7 days of the transaction.
  • Requests can be made through the Procurn app, website, or by emailing [email protected].
  • Refunds will be processed after verification and may take 5-10 business days to reflect in the original payment method.

4. Dispute Resolution

  • If a user disagrees with the refund decision, they may escalate the issue to our support team for further review.
  • All disputes will be handled as per the jurisdiction of Uttar Pradesh, India.
